Custom Sewing Service | Custom Curtains From your Own Fabric

Please follow these instructions step by step to successfully purchase the listing and receive your beautifully made curtains without any delays:

- Pick your own fabric. Please see instructions on how to calculate how much fabric you need below.

Please note, that some fabrics, especially made from natural fibers, such as linen, cotton, shrink after first wash, so we do recommend washing your fabric before sending it to us for sewing, or calculate the size of the curtains based on the shrinkage calculation formula of your fabric.

- Pick style of curtains.

We offer:

• Curtains with rod pocket (pocket is 3" wide)

• Curtains with back tabs (tabs will be made from curtain material, 3" long)

• Curtains with top tabs (3" long, length is included in total length of curtains)

• Curtains with Kronill type multifunctional tape (can be styled as back tabs, pinch pleat or hung with ceiling track)

• Curtains with grommets. Plastic Curtain Grommets, available in three colors - Matte Coffee, Matte Silver and Black. Grommets feature built in nano-scale silencing rings, they help curtains smoothly slide on a curtain rod and protect the rod from damage by causing less friction. Indicate what color you would prefer.

• Ripple fold curtains

• Curtains with ties (set of 2 ties, each measuring 1" wide x 10" long, distance between each set of ties is 4-5")

• Curtains with bow ties (set of 2 bow ties, each measuring 2" wide x 10" long, distance between each set of bow ties is 4-5")

• Pencil Pleat curtains

- Ship your fabric to our workshop in Maryland, US. Please send the package with signature request upon receiving. We are not responsible for lost packages if no signature received by our shop members.

If you do not see the size of curtain panel you looking for - please select next largest dimension in the drop down menu, and just attach a note to your order with exact measurements, and we will customize this for you !

Example: you are looking for a panel measuring 53" wide x 96" long. In this case select option 55" wide x 100" long in our listing, and attach a note with your exact dimensions. If your panel is still wider or longer, than what we offer in our listing, please contact us, and we will be happy to help you.

All notions are included in the listing price. We just need fabric from you, and the rest is on us!

How much fabric will you need?

• Width of curtains/s:

We do recommend making curtains 1.5-2 times wider than your window/s if you would like to create romantic beautiful drapes on your curtains.

How to measure for ripple fold curtains:
We recommend a Fullness Ratio of 2 for this type of curtains. Fullness Ratio is the ratio of the width of the curtain before pleating to its finished width when pleated or gathered. The higher the fullness ratio the more gathered and heavier the curtains will be.
The width of the curtain in our listing is the width of the panel before gathering. For instance, you are selecting panel 40" wide x 50" long in our listing. You will receive a panel, which will be 40" wide and be 50" long, so if you decide to gather a top to a fullness ratio of 2, the final product will be 20" wide at the top and 50" long.
After you decide the width of your curtains, add 5 inches to the number - and it will be the width of the of the fabric, you need to send us.

• Length of curtains/s:

Please measure from the top of your curtain rod to the point where you would like you curtains to end, add 10 inches, and it will be the length of the fabric you need to send us.
Attention: if your fabric has a repeat pattern - please measure the length of the pattern, multiply by 2 and add this number to the total length of your fabric, calculated using the instructions above.
If width of your fabric does not allow for wide curtains, we can sew 2 or 3 panels together to create extra wide curtain panels for you.
