Pencil Pleat Linen Curtains

We recommend a Fullness Ratio of 2 for our pencil pleat curtains.

Fullness Ratio is the ratio of the width of the curtain before pleating to its finished width when pleated or gathered. The higher the fullness ratio the more gathered and heavier the curtains will be. 

The width of the curtain in our listing is the width of the panel before gathering. For instance, you are selecting panel 40" wide x 50" long in our listing. You will receive a panel, which will be 40" wide and be 50" long, so if you decide to gather a top to a  fullness ratio of 2, the final product will be 20" wide at the top and 50" long. The heading tape has cords, which are left on one side, so you will be able to create fullness as you prefer. In photo of this listing, we hung 2 curtain panels, each 90" wide and 96" long, which were gathered to 2 panels being 45" at the top and 96" long.

- 100% Natural European linen. This linen was produced according to universally accepted quality requirements which correspond to OEKO-TEX 100 standards. This fabric  certification proves that the finished textile product is free from harmful substances.

Rush service fee is 20% of the order price.

•    Do not bleach 
•    Tumble dry low 
•    Warm iron

Please note note, that our linen fabric is pre-washed but minimal shrinkage of the final product is still possible, and can be about 1-2%.

If you decide to wash your curtains at home, please make sure you iron them after washing and and drying them, this will help the fibers to straighten up.
